Areeba – Brand Review and Strategy

The Challenge

Areeba started as a small development company specialising in online/web solutions. Then 10 years late and over 500 projects under its belt, Areeba evolved into a highly skilled, down to earth, results focused team who develop quality communication and business solutions, comprehensive strategies and reliability for its clients. Much of this success was largely attributed to its partnership with RedDot and a loyal client base.

However whilst Areeba acknowledged itself as more than a web solutions provider many still regarded the company as a predominantly ‘technical’ business that are more ‘service’ providers than solution providers. Additionally, many businesses were either not aware of Areeba’s breadth of services or did not understand how Areeba could help solve their specific ‘business’ issues. Areeba wanted to be seen as a cross digital solutions agency but how?

The Solution

Areeba needed to achieve better alignment between its client’s strategic needs and the value it offered them. Move devised a comprehensive brand strategy that focused on differentiating Areeba from its competitors and emulating its brand essence, ‘distinctive value’. The strategy outlined how Areeba could be perceived by its clients as more of a strategic ally than a technology/website development shop.

As part of the brand strategy, Move developed a brand positioning framework and brand blueprint that all staff could follow and a marketing plan and strategy. Move also conducted a full website audit and provided recommendations for improvement, developed a core messaging framework and content strategy for a number of communications and established a new PR management function.
Unfortunately Areeba could not sustain itself and closed its doors in 2011.
