  • Do you do SEO?

    It's hard to give a clear cut answer to this question! Let us explain 💁


    First of all: we don't specialise in SEO. There are agencies out there that ONLY do SEO (and charge big bucks to do so). That's because it *can* be a very involved process, covering many different aspects to boost your business online. SEO is a crucial component of digital marketing (but SEO is also like... how long is a piece of string?)


    However: we do offer many facets of SEO as part of our other services! For example:


    💻 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 - the user experience & technical on-site aspects (such as headers, meta tags, page descriptions, internal links & keywords) are all very important factors for SEO. That's all included with our website design service!


    ✨ 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 - Google rewards 'helpful content'. Basically, that means keeping your website updated with info that your customers find relevant and helpful. For our web design clients, we offer an ongoing website support package, where we make sure your website is updated every month (with helpful content + other SEO tweaks as required!)


    📱𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - particularly if you're a local service-based business, keeping your Google My Business (GMB) profile up-to-date and relevant is very important for SEO! As part of our GMB management service, we add regular updates to your profile and even respond to Google reviews in an SEO-friendly way (i.e. including relevant keywords in the response). 


    ⭐️ 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - like the 'helpful content' and GMB updates above, keeping your social media frequently updated (and using your important keywords) is great for SEO! 


    💥 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - while this is done on an ad hoc basis, we can tick off important SEO aspects when managing campaigns. For example, if we're marketing a public event, we can ask for the event to be added to other reputable websites. Not only does this boost visibility, it gives your website a valuable backlink - which Google loves!


    In summary... because we don't offer the full spectrum of SEO (such as complete backlink-building strategies), we hate to say that we offer SEO as a stand-alone service. However, we definitely include SEO elements within our range of services  ✔️

  • Which is better: Facebook Ads or Google Ads?

    We hate to do it... but the answer is "it depends"! Here is the (very basic) difference:


    𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 (𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮) 𝗔𝗱𝘀

    • Are great for 'interruption' marketing (your potential customer may not know that they need your product / service... until they see your ad!)
    • Cost-per-click is normally cheap - but it can take a long time to get a sale / lead.

    𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘀

    • Are great for customers in the 'consideration' purchase stage (they are actively researching the product / service and getting close to making a purchase).
    • Cost-per-click is generally higher than Facebook Ads BUT cost per conversion (i.e. sale/lead) can be lower... though that depends on a whole range of factors!  

    In a nutshell: 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗔𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂.


    Keep in mind! Facebook & Google Ads can work really nicely together! E.g. A potential customer sees your ad on Facebook 👉 the following week they do a Google Search for your product / business name 👉 the following day they are re-targeted with another great Facebook Ad 👉 they then make a purchase or submit an enquiry. 


    Ultimately the decision comes down to your OBJECTIVE and your BUDGET.  You can always book a consult with us so we can look at your overall strategy!

  • Can you help me with my grant application?

    As a quick answer... yes! We can have an initial consultation and help put together a proposal which ticks the box for your grant application requirements. It's helpful if you can send us the details of the grant beforehand. 

  • I'm not in Townsville. Can you help me?

    Depending on your requirements, usually that's not a problem. We currently have clients located across Queensland. Most of our services (including website design, Google Ads & Social Media Ads management) can easily be organised via phone and Zoom consultations. 

Charged monthly at $130 + GST, it includes:

  • A phone call or email from your dedicated MOVE account manager to confirm any current/upcoming promotional activity or the required updates. Your account manager can also give you suggestions for what to update.
  • One hour of website updates per month (if you do not use an hour of updates in one month, you can rollover your hours for up to 3 consecutive months)
  • Your annual website hosting fee.


BONUS! Pay your annual website support package in advance ($1560 + GST), and receive a complimentary one hour Deep Dive Strategy session. This includes both a careful audit and action plan for your website, plus a marketing strategy discussion.


Without the support package, the current annual website hosting fees are:

  • $275 + GST for a standard website (for service / lead-generation businesses)
  • $450 + GST for an e-commerce website

As the online home of your business, regularly updating your website helps to inform and attract the right customer and also helps your organic Google rankings.


Our annual website support package is designed for our existing website clients. It means you have the MOVE team on hand to:


  • Help improve your website functionality (e.g. more call to action buttons, an improved lead form)
  • Add promotional material (pop ups or banners in line with your other marketing activity)
  • Introduce new website features (e.g. add your Instagram or Facebook feed, update your photo gallery design)
  • Update your content (Has your team changed? New products or service offering? Different trading hours?)
  • Expand on your existing content (even including new web pages if relevant)
  • Technical assistance (updating broken links etc)
  • Improve your on-site SEO (e.g. update your headings and page descriptions to help your Google rankings)
